The Perfect Dress What was your favorite feature? I loved the satin sheen of the fabric under flash and candlelight! How did you feel in your wedding dress? It was comfortable, secure, and I felt so beautiful! I didn’t have to pull up the dress throughout the night at all and the skirt flowed beautifully with movement. Tell us a little about your wedding day. We got married in Washington, DC, where we live and where we fell in love. Our ceremony took place at our synagogue and our reception was at the Woodend Sanctuary and Mansion. The Woodend Sanctuary is the home of the National Audubon Society, which is a cause we care deeply about. We incorporated marigolds, our favorite flower to plant in our garden, into our wedding flowers.
